We were approached to work with the Technology Association of Georgia as a part of The Summit held annually in Atlanta. The Summit engages more than 1,400 prominent C-level executives, entrepreneurs and academic leaders from around the world to discuss the most important global trends affecting us today. CraterDust had the opportunity to sponsor the breakout sessions as well as the unique challenge of supporting the keynote speaking event focused on: Acquiring, Inspiring, Developing and Retaining Talent in the technology industry.
The team was provided with documents containing questions and topics for each of the breakout sessions. These sessions were to be held an hour prior to the keynote speaking event taking the stage. From there we would have 15 minutes to correspond with the session leaders, determine the key takeaways from each main topic, create an all-encompassing infographic for the keynote and assemble the entire presentation to be cast in front of thousands of attendees.
After presenting multiple concepts each with custom styling, the client chose the concept dubbed “Icons of Success”. With less than 7 days to get ready and the extremely tight window to pull everything together on location, preparation was absolutely paramount.
On the day of The Summit, four of us arrived armed with laptops and a library of assets and support consisting of over 30 custom illustrated icons, type designs and layout templates made with corresponding color schemes. Once the sessions wrapped it was go time. The 15 minutes went by in a flash. Our prep work paid off in spades as we made it happen with time to spare. The presentation went off without a hitch and after all was said and done the client was elated.
After the breakout session recap was finished, we packaged up the slides that were presented into a PDF to be supplied to the attendees. Below you can see the final slides that were cast via the Google Jamboard.
